The City of Heroes and City of Villains Support Team can be reached both in and out of the game. A message board is also available for indirect communication between players and developers.
PlayNC Support Center The PlayNC Support Center at http://www.plaync.com/us/support is the place to find answers and contact our support team outside of the game. Answers to many commonly asked questions are available in our searchable website. Many of these answers will tell you what information to include when contacting support for a particular issue, so you can often speed the process along by sending the necessary information in your initial inquiry.
If the Support Center does not contain the answer to your question, click the Ask a Question link. Once there, follow these simple steps to submit your question to us:
- Enter your e-mail address in all lower case (e-mail address is case sensitive).
- Type your subject and message in the appropriate boxes. Populate the fields and drop-down menus and click the Submit Question button.
- If you already have a support account, skip to Step #5. If you have never created a support account with us, you will be taken to an account creation screen. Enter the information requested to create your support account. We respect your privacy and do not share this information with other companies. Click the Create Account button.
- New accounts will be taken to a screen verifying account creation. Click the Finish Submitting Question button.
- You will be presented with a reference number for your submission. A copy of your question will also be e-mailed to you for your records.
Please Note: Your support account login is separate from your PlayNC or game account logins so that you will always have access to support, even if you are having a problem with your game account.
You can update your issue at any time by logging into My Stuff. For more information about the My Stuff tab, including how to track your current support issues, click the link below.
In-Game Support Click Menu and then Support. This will open a box requesting the petition type, a subject, and message body. It's very similar to submitting a question using the Ask a Question feature on the website. A support ticket will be created for you and responded to outside of the game, so you do not need to remain logged in to the game to have your issue addressed. You can check the status of this ticket and update it with new information, or send a response by visiting the My Stuff section of the support website. Be sure to check the e-mail address on file with your PlayNC master account for a response from our support team. Feedback and Suggestions If you have a suggestion or feedback about City of Heroes or City of Villains and want your voice to be heard, a great place to voice your opinion is the official message board for the game you are playing (see below for URLs). This will give other players a chance to comment and offer their thoughts on your topic. Each message is read by the Community Team who report hot topics to the Development Team. An idea is more likely to be noted if it has the backing and comments of other players, and the message boards are the perfect place to make this happen.
