Contacting Guild Wars Support

Question

How do I contact someone in Guild Wars Support?

Answer

SUPPORT WEBSITE

The best place to start is right here, in the Knowledge Base. We have a vast amount of topics already in the Knowledge Base and are adding more all the time. If something is missing from the Knowledge Base that you would like to see in there, please let us know so that we may consider it for a future addition.

If the Knowledge Base does not contain the information you are seeking, just click on the Ask A Question tab. Once there, follow these simple steps to submit your question to us...

  1. Enter your e-mail address in all lower-case (e-mail address is case sensitive).
  2. Type your subject and message in the appropriate boxes. Populate the fields and dropdown menus below and then click Submit Question.
  3. If you already have a Support website account, skip to Step #5. If you have never created a Support website account with us, you will then be taken to a "new account" screen. This is a very quick and painless process. Just enter the information requested on the page and that will be your Support website account. We respect your privacy and do not share this information with other companies. Click Continue or OK.
  4. New accounts will then be taken to a screen verifying your account creation.
  5. Click Finish Submitting Question.

You will be presented with a confirmation reference number for your submission. Your question will then be submitted to us and you will have an account in our support system so that a support representative can respond to you quickly. A copy of your question will also be e-mailed to you for your records.

Your Support website login is a universal support login that will work on each of our support websites. This means that you can use your PlayNC Support website login to access the City of Heroes, Lineage, Guild Wars, or Lineage II Support websites.

Please Note: This login is separate from your PlayNC or game account login so that you will always have access to support even if you are having a problem with your game account.

MY STUFF

The My Stuff tab on each of our Support websites contains some very cool tools for you to use; just log in using the support account that you created previously. Your login name is the e-mail address you previously used to submit a question, and your password was e-mailed to that address when you created your support account.

Questions

Check the status of your questions or update your ticket with additional information. You can access this from anyplace that you have an Internet connection.

Answer Update Notifications

At the bottom of each Knowledge Base article, you are presented the option "Notify Me by E-mail if this Answer is Updated." This subscribes you to this article. The Answer Update Notifications section displays all of the Knowledge Base articles that you are subscribed to and allows you to delete those that are no longer needed.

Account Profile

The Account Profile section is where you can update your Support website account information and preferences. On the PlayNC Support website, you will also be given the option to subscribe to "Answer Update Notifications" for an entire product Knowledge Base. This will notify you of new or updated articles for the Knowledge Base of your choice (Guild Wars, City of Heroes, Lineage, Lineage II, or PlayNC).

GAME PLAY SUGGESTIONS/FEEDBACK

If you have a suggestion or feedback about Guild Wars and want your voice to be heard, a great place to accomplish this is through the official Guild Wars fansite message boards. Posting on the forums will give other players a chance to comment and offer their thoughts on your topic. Every message is read by our Community team and relayed, when appropriate, to the Development Team. An idea is more likely to be noted if it has the backing and comments of other players, and the message boards are the perfect place to make this happen.
