December 24, 2007PlayNC account timezone changes

On New Year's Day, January 1, 2008, we'll be changing the time zone used for all customer account work from Eastern time (EST) to Coordinated Universal Time (UTC, basically the same as GMT). This shouldn't make much of a difference to most customers, though some may notice (depending on what time during the day their billing takes place) that the listed billing date may move up by a day (however, technically speaking, you're actually not gaining any extra time).

Seoul, South Korea, November 6, 2007–NCsoft® Corporation (KSE: 036570.KS) today reported third quarter 2007 sales of KRW 80.0 billion (US$88.3 million), operating income of KRW 9.7 billion (US$10.7 million), and net income of KRW 10.1 billion (US$11.2 million) all on a consolidated basis. Compared to the previous quarter, sales rose 5%. Operating income and net income were down by 8% and 5%, respectively, when compared to the previous quarter.

November 6, 2007NCsoft Announces New Studio in North California; Takes Full ...

NCsoft® Corp, the world’s leading developer and publisher of online computer games, today announced the formation of a new development studio in Mountain View, California. The announcement comes as the company begins a renewed push to further develop the City of Heroes® property, which is now 100 percent owned by NCsoft. Previous to today, ownership of the intellectual property (IP) was split between NCsoft and Cryptic Studios, the original developer of the project.
