NCsoft and NetDevil Unveil Auto Assault Web Site
New Internet Home Provides a Sneak Peek at Massively Multiplayer Vehicular Combat Game That Will Make its Debut at Electronic Entertainment Expo
Austin, TEXAS, May 4, 2004 -NCsoft® and NetDevil® announce the launch of the new web site for Auto Assault™, http://www.autoassault.com, a massively multiplayer vehicular combat game set in a post-apocalyptic future. Auto Assault will be officially unveiled at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in Los Angeles on May 12-14. The game is expected to launch in 2005.
Auto Assault combines vehicular combat with role-playing elements. Players explore a post-apocalyptic future in customizable cars, motorcycles, semis and even tanks. Players battle other players both in arenas and in epic race vs. race wars for control of the regions in a devastated Earth. Auto Assault uses the power of the Havok™ physics engine to let you make insane jumps, send obstacles flying and even blast bridges, buildings, fences and trees with your car-mounted rockets. Anything you can hit, you can destroy!
The new web site has multiple pages of facts, art and information about the game. Visitors can view screenshots and download other pieces of game and concept art, movies and desktop wallpaper images. There also are downloadable music samples from Auto Assault's professionally composed soundtracks. And for those who want to know about the fiction behind Auto Assault's compelling story, there are special ongoing and updated Recon Reports with detailed information about Auto Assault's characters and universe.
