NCsoft Unveils Exciting Events for Upcoming Electronic Entertainment Expo
Lineup Includes Appearances from Famed Artists, "Lord British,"
a Dune Buggy Giveaway and an Unprecedented Chance for the World
Austin, TEXAS, May 7, 2004 -NCsoft® Corporation (KSE: 036570.KS), the world's leading developer and publisher of online computer games, today announced the company's special events planned for next week's Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), taking place at the Los Angeles Convention Center. NCsoft will have multiple products on display in booth #824 in the convention center's South Hall, including Guild Wars™, the compelling competitive role-playing game from ArenaNet™, the much anticipated Tabula Rasa™ from gaming pioneer, Richard "Lord British" Garriott, and action-packed Auto Assault™ from the developers at NetDevil®. NCsoft will also show off the visually stunning title, Lineage® II, and City of Villains™, the first major expansion to Cryptic Studios'™ highly anticipated City of Heroes™ comic book-inspired online game.

British is Back - Lord British, Richard Garriott 's legendary alter ego of Ultima™ fame, will be on the show floor Friday afternoon at 2:00 pm.
Auto Assault Section
Dune Buggy Giveaway - Participate in a combat competition for your chance to win a real-life, street legal, tricked out dune buggy inspired by a vehicle in Auto Assault ! Competitions will be held approximately every fifteen minutes throughout the show; each winner will be entered into a drawing for the vehicle. The drawing will be held at the NCsoft booth at 3:00 pm on Friday, May 14. Details can be found at http://www.autoassault.com.
Meet Jen - Jen, the human bounty hunter from the Auto Assault trailer, will step out of the apocalyptic world of Auto Assault right onto the show floor to hang out with Auto Assault fans!
Guild Wars Section
E3 for Everyone! - ArenaNet and NCsoft invite gamers all over the world to be among the first to play Guild Wars - before it goes into beta test. Tens of thousands have already downloaded the game and plan to participate in this unprecedented event during E3. Experience for yourself Guild Wars ' many innovations, such as skill-based gameplay, the combination of a social world with a personal story, and free online play. Tabula Rasa Section
Team-led Play Sessions - For the last couple of years, everyone has heard that the man responsible for Ultima Online has been secretly at work on a brand new massively multiplayer game. Don't miss this first-ever public unveiling of Tabula Rasa, the newest creation from Destination Games™ and NCsoft! Members of the development team will lead gameplay sessions throughout the show.
Chris Vrenna Appearances - Waxploitation recording artist and former Nine Inch Nails band member, Chris Vrenna, will be on hand each day of the show from 1:30 to 2:30 pm to sign copies of an exclusive E3 multimedia CD sampler featuring select tracks from his score for Tabula Rasa. This limited issue disc will also include tracks from Vrenna's newest release "Tweaker," the world premiere debut of Tabula Rasa's gameplay trailer, and a selection of hits from various Waxploitation recording artists.
Joe Madureira Appearances - You've seen his work in Marvel Comics' Uncanny X-Men and his ori gina l series Battlechasers . Now, popular comic book artist, Joe Madureira, brings his distinctive artistic talents to NCsoft. Thursday, May 13, at 11:30 am and 3:30 pm, Joe will be signing limited copies of his recent cover illustration for the June issue of Computer Games Magazine featuring a first-ever look behind the scenes at Richard Garriott 's newest massively multiplayer game in development, Tabula Rasa!
Attendees can also see a sneak peak of City of Villains, the first expansion to Cryptic Studios' City of Heroes, which launched April 28. Enjoy costume creation contests, autograph sessions with Statesman, and hero-versus-villain battles!
Recently-launched Lineage II will also be in the booth. They'll be holding team-led gameplay experiences that highlight certain features of the game, including party play, player-versus-player (PvP) combat, and the gorgeous graphics and environments that serve as the game's backdrop.
